Im searching for preferably softshell pants for mountaineering that can be used as ski pants in the backcountry (ski mountaineering but still use the pants even when i am not skiing down what i climb)

Rab makes some good material pants that are quite breathable and versatile. A bit of bag around the knees but tapered by the boot so you don’t catch crampons.
I recently switched to Flylow’s breathable hard shell for touring. Much better style for my likes but helps you not sweat and freeze. For spring ski mountaineering, I go with more “athletic bag” fit of a soft shell like material and no bibs.
