Replying to Cast freetour on a "one ski quiver"

Thinking about getting the cast freetour upgrade kit for my Jeff 110's that I ski inbounds. I wanna get into some touring but am not willing to get a whole dedicated setup. Would it be dumb to ski them inbounds? Also, what keeps the alpine toe secured to the ski? I eat shit about 2-3 times per session and don't want to loose the pivot toe piece in a big crash. Planning on running it with some K2 diverge sc boots, which I have been told work with both alpine and tech bindings.
