Best Sony E Mount Fisheye

Looking for a wide angle lens that imitates wide angle fisheye skateboard style filming, particularly similar to Beagle's VX1000 fisheye. I've had a couple different ones, a Sigma and a Rokinon I used to have which had a loose focus ring and the focus would sometimes slip and blow shots. Looking for something solid that has a vignette and will fit on a Sony A7s3. Looking for something between $100-$300. Thanks for any recommendations. Hoping to contribute more skate style ski segments to the NS community.

This lens might fit your needs. E-mount fisheye, with options to vignette with the lens hood with your cam in apsc mode, or use in full-frame mode for more of the circular fisheye look. The rear mounted ND filter would be so nice for on snow filming too. Look up some review videos.

You can use gaffers tape to stick focus rings in place if needed. It's janky, but it works well. Other tape will leave residue but gaff usually wont.

fk an e-mount. canon 8-15 + metabones/sigma mc11 would look best, if you've got an a7s3 its worth the investment. It will also hold its value quite well.
Otherwise shoot in 4k s35 and crop in on an 8mm rokinon.
shot this with the 8-15 on sony - you can get suuper wide by cropping to 4:3/3:2 but also get vignette at 16:9

$1500 for a fisheye look is not the play IMO you can get the exact same look with a $200 emount lens, especially since OP said 100-300 was his budget.

I mean OP spent $5k on his camera too tho, but yeah easy to crop in on 4k

ya homie blew his wad, cant afford anything else lol. but for real, even if your camera is 10k a 1500 fishehye is a bad investment IMO.

canon 8-15 + metabones/sigma mc11 is what I use on higher end things. But, I Have a Rokinon thats my pride and joy with tape holding everything down like mentioned above.

P.S. Getting a good fisheye is worth it if you make money filming fisheye, but save a few bucks if you can because you will break them.
