Demo bindings

need advice,If i am still growing would it be a bad move to get demo bindings?
if not what demo bindings should i get

subjective call. a lot of people will tell you they WOULD NEVER but you totally can do it. the big drawbacks are 1) more moving parts, so more likely to break or malfunction and 2) more stack height (like, your boot is farther up from the ski than it would be otherwise)

if youre def gonna be growing a lot it might be a boon for you. regular bindings vary in how much adjustability they have so it might be worth checking on that depending on how much growth youre expecting

and i'd go with tyrolia attack demo bindings if i were going to get a pair of demo bindings

Bindings have a bit of adjustment with the foreword pressure, so you probably could fit a range of boots in. Attacks have an adjustment range of 32 mm (pretty much the most) which should be able to fit about 2-3 sizes of boots if they are mounted well. If you’re getting new boots every year, than you’ll be able to ski those mounts longer than the ski will probably last you. So I think demo bindings are really only useful for demo skis.

If you are still growing, you might also out grow your skis or your din range making demo bindings pointless. If you don't wreck skis it is also far easier to sell skis with bindings than without. Not saying don't buy demos, just things to think about.

Having ripped the track completely out of a pair of line sick days, I will never touch a pair of demo bindings again, but if your not beating them too hard they would be safe. Bindings have a lot more room for adjustment than you think, but if your outgrowing your boots there’s a fair chance you’ll be outgrowing your skis as well.
