Not to be biased because im a dual citizen of two great countrys like chile and the USA but Chile has been disgusting this year. Wicked and the parks have been fucking flowing with talent ..def go and check it out its not to exspensive have i enmtioned that its prime teritory for steeps and backcountry hits. ohh and a lift ticket cost 27 us dollars............

what are the good resorts in chile? I was thinking of doing NZ next summer..but chile sounds pretty enticing..

Don't think just jump.

Some of th ebest spot sin chile are Valle Nevado which in hour from santiago. so is el colorado and Laparva which are good but not the size of valle nevado which is sick none the less theyre all good. you can ski one day at each of these places for $26. For about 35 you can ski all three which is massive absolutely massive and on a powderday fuck. the out of bounds is extremly safe no avalanche traing needed and its not illegal or in BFE. You can ski out of bounds far out of bounds with sick terrain and ski back to the lifs somehow or take a 10 min hike
. ski patrol doest care where you hit or where you build them. if you decide to go hok up with some other locals theyllshow you the ropes they usually build some massive backcountry hits and are always willing to teach a few gringos the spots. People are friendly , drinking age is 18 but no1 follows it i mean noone. the chicks are hot, brazilians, beer alcahol, skiing and all for cheap. Some other good places are portillo world reknowned for terrain but not really fun when not skiing and theres no terrain park. Chillan doesnt have a terrain park and itsd 5 hours away but it might quite poissibly have the sicket snow and terrain kind alike the jackson of South america if you hook up with someone there. its a little more exspensiv ebut worth it. but still for US standards not to exspensive. that palce is so sick the snow board school built a 5 ft kicker off a river. Loot sof crazy niught life for everyone and good food. A ticket there form miami can cost you 400 bucks if you tak erit with a connection i think im not sure ho wmuch from dallas?. but def if you can get to chile you wont regret it ive met alot of kids from the states who have said theyve never had so much fun as they have ther enewhere. Its freedom at it sbest.

Warning to skiers though snowboarders are abundant there it snot like here where there are alot of newschoolers. there arent as many as here and they still are a little resentment of skiers if you cant bust osme moves. Just look for chilean with twin tips and tell them ur gringo and theyll show u around.
