But uh, if I ever have a billion dollars, I'll sink 5% of that into purchasing a failing resort and keep it as core as core can be. Write off the losses. Let ns vote on the name. Top 100 karma people, motm, and anyone with a name "before 2001" get to ski for free.

You act like Vail is the sole-reason that ski towns are dead while still forgetting those in-charge...Have you seen the people who show up to city council meetings and run the local and state governments in these places? Bud, there's gonna be ash containers on every lift, bongs in the gondolas (imagine the insurance liability), and weed vending machines. High demand by all the stoners with munchies will keep food costs low, further contributing to the mission of staying core.
