What’s your favorite ski of all time? Interested to see what NS as a whole likes. Doesn’t have to be park, could be all-mountain, powder, whatever :-)

The OG devy was legendary. What about the old model do you like more than the new version?

Quick reasoning on the new dev while we're here. The main change we made was flattening out the reverse-camber underfoot, it makes the new version more capable on variable snow, groomers, and firm days. Still epic in powder, park, and side-hits. Our team was hesitant about changing the Dev shape until they got on the new version and realized that it makes for just a straight-up better ski to shread out throughout the course of the ENTIRE season - not just when it's really good conditions.

was riding the poachers for 6 seasons until they fell apart (had the reckoners for like 4 days this season until i had a pretty bad delam on both of them, was actually quite happy to go back to the poachers). Super fun ski in park as well as groomers. The stiffness and weight added some charging potential i've never had in other skis...
got the giver's for next year, i am curious how they're gonna be.

ON3P Jeffery 110/108's have done literally everything for me. Park, pow, chop, touring, spring slop, groomers, ice, trees, cliffs, rocks, rails, jumps, forward, switch, etc. Hard not to love them

never actually rode the 194, but the 184.

personally, I miss the weight that has been cut throughout the years. The OG devs just felt like they could get through anything. My newer ones feel less so. It was just confidence inspiring to have that extra oomph. I mean they were like what, 2700g skis in the 194? so like 2400-2500 in the 184?

I can still blow chop at near mach-potato, though they get deflected a lot more. 13-14 season were mach potato machines even in the 184. Didnt have the balls to go 194, probs would today.




also, if anyone is selling OG devs in 184-194 I would happily take them. Got plenty of skis to trade or cash

2007-8 Volkl Karma. They were still made in germany at the time. I skiied them for 500+ days and they're still usable. Learned so many tricks on those things.
Most durable ski I ever experienced and served me well for everything. I even did my first tour on them with trekkers. I loved the graphic too.

I have to agree, this was a great ski! I had a pair and they could handle everything I skied. Gave them away to a buddies kid about 5 years ago and they are still going strong.

Also, @4FRNT if you did an OG core with the new shape I would be first in line. I dig the new shape/rocker changes and I know the industry has been moving towards lighter is better for some time. But I just want to be a meat missle again.

Until then Ill be stocking up on ebay, tgr and Ns

Interested if you've skied the new one or the weight on paper is enough to make you second guess it?

I have rode my buddies new ones....21s or 22s?..... Currently riding the 19s which is after a few years of 10% weight reduction if I am correct. Started off on the 14s
