GeorgiaJibberDo not be afraid to buy a bike that seems to be too advanced for your current skill level. Its better to get a bike that will support your progression, and not one that you will outgrow after a season of riding. The progression with mountain biking happens pretty quickly, especially for those that have a strong ski background.
