Read my post again and realized i'm being unclear. I'm mostly referring to the same 10 people who REPLY to these threads, not the people who make them (Jems is right that there's more trash threads in the off season).

There’s so much content coming out right now. Its all over the homepage. If you’re seeing shitty threads thats because your clicking shitty threads. The content is there if you want it. Participate in the aspects you value.
The reason why I (and I assume many others) use NS is because I ride at a small ass hill with no community and I wanna talk about skiing and have an impact on the sport because I love this shit and the only way to actually do that is by posting/reading stuff on here. Hate to break it to you, but your favourite pros probably share a lot of the same viewpoints as ppl have on here, they just can’t be vocal about it because they don’t want it to negatively affect their reputation. Lets not forget Henrik basically shit on Hugo on ig for making a bad ref call. I would assume he probably also thinks a lot of these shitty snowpant brands are lame too lmao.

Also there’s tons of cool skiing photos, videos and articles man. I’ve learned so much here just reading and asking. Ski gabber just gets a lil silly after the question at hand of is either Answered, or is totally redundant (like “What binding for my Vishnus do I get?”)

Exactly. Nobody around me wants to talk skiing as much as I do. Super thankful for this place n u guys

maybe there are a lot of the same people posting but it is pretty much all about skiing in some way and it pretty entertaining reading peoples opinions on hot topics in the ski community.
there are also a shit ton of videos coming out right now
regardless of the quality ns is very active right now and there are many threads popping off with orange and purple names commenting which I think is undeniably a good thing for skiing
