In my view, I understand the background and why this is being discussed. Yes real harm has occurred over decades resulting in economic restriction of this group, however idk what to think about the solutions. Not sure a good solution even exists.
What happens when a whole bunch of people are given the equivalent of anywhere from a years to a lifetime of income in a lump sum? I'm curious to see the impact (positive or negative) on the economy and overall social structures.
