M free 99

I haven’t rode a pair either but my cousin is one that uses them at snowbird and he loves them.

Haven’t rode the 99, but so many people I know ride the 108. They love it for freeride and some ski park on them too and love them. Sounds like a dope ski, I heard the 99 is softer and more of a park ski but that might not be completely accurate. Either way I bet they’ll be a blast, enjoy and let us know!

Only skied the 108, but it was too soft for me. I also don't like the fact that the majority of the core is PU, with only small amount of wood throughout. For the price they charge, it should be a full wood core.

Damn too soft? I guess it’s not the stiffest thing ever but some of my homies straightline for hundreds of feet on those (saber slice at bridger bowl) and huck 50 foot cliffs and I haven’t heard complaints about them being too soft. I guess at the end of the day it is all personal preference though.

I love the M free 99. My bro and I share skis and while we have quite a quiver it's often a battle who gets to take the M-free out (tho we can switch up after a few runs).

I am still blown away by this ski. My first impression was with how playful they are, softer tip and tail with the rocker, for butters, bumps, and float, but what I can't get over is their hold and ability to carve or power through crud. They have some power, snap and hold underfoot, and pop and play tip and tail. We have kept the edges sharp and have not used them as a park ski. More as an all-mountain ripper and jibber, though I can imagine them being a blast in the park.

Also in the past two seasons, we have put nearly 100 days on them and they are holding up well. Certainly can tell they have lost some of their power, but it's not even close to a dead ski. Overall: blown away.

dude i skied bridger in february and saw this first hand and it blew my mind, i skied the 108 a ton on the east coast and felt like it couldnt even handle high speed here, let alone at bridger

Damn yeah that’s wild to hear these different takes, I guess in the east though the snow is all bullet proof so I could see them feeling more unstable there. It’s crazy what people at bridger do on those things for sure though.

now im undecided if i should stick with menace 98s or switch to the m free 99s like i wanted to, so many different opinions

Menace is better for more park heavy days, M Free better for more all mountainy days.

I’ve been runnin the 99’s and 108’s for the past couple seasons now and love em. 99’s are my dedicated park ski even though they’re more of an all mountain but they rip and are super playful. Sticking with the free line for the foreseeable future.

Ngl I might snag the MFree. I need a great non-park ski that won’t die when I inevitably take it thru the park 😂
