BradFiAusNzCoCaA ski for my left foot and a ski for my right foot
somewhereeastOkay, but what ski on the right and what ski on the left
somewhereeastif you could only have any 2 skis forever what would it be
weatcoastMango 100 and the OG Vishnu wide 183. Before the rocker changed this past season.
brownetownwhat about the new rocker profile do you not like
weatcoastIt’s flatter and the rocker isn’t as aggressive. It’s “made up for” with “more tip splay” but if you compare new and old profiles of both wets and wides, the distance the tips sit from eachother is identical if I remember correctly.
Find some clips of the new ones and then the original shape, and you’ll probably see the difference that I’m talking about.
love Vishnu and love Emmett but I just personally think the new rocker is worse than it already was. It was super flat before, but still noticeably better than what it is now. The reason why all this matters is because I like to do nollies rather often, and it’s so easy to get tips stuck when they’re that low to the ground. if you don’t do too many nollies then this new “problem” won’t pertain to you and the skis will ride the exact same.
VISHNUI'm not exaggerating when I say that it is literally one degree of difference between the old rocker and the new one.
