Hard agree. No issues clicking in in pow, unlike pivots, and have the most consistent release of any binding I’ve had. Good for the money and effective

Mine started having crazy prerelease issues after my first 2 seasons of skiing hard, probably like 30-50 days total. Cheap but definitely don’t last, metal pivots are a far better value prop

If forward pressure has been set correctly, the other usual issue for prerelease is the AFD height on the toe piece. In my experience it tends to loosen up and needs to be adjusted like once per season (or perhaps boot soles get eaten up with use). Attacks can last a very long time, just need to re-adjust from time to time.
I've got a pair going on its 9th year now. Still works.
Only thing I dislike is sometimes when you land hard switch the brakes will go down and eject you even if you stomped. But you can just cut them shorter.

Facts. I love pivots too but their alternate colorways are cheeks. Gold, raw, black, grey are the only ones I’d ever pick. Praying they make a White one day.
BigPurpleSkiSuitIve heard that the STH will never go away but if it does i think I'll end up going with Pivots since I've had a few pre-release issues on attacks
They've already narrowed the STH range down to a single 16 din binding... I'm pretty sure they'll be gone in 1-2 years. The Strive is very similar though. I have STH 13s and Strive 14s in boxes waiting to mount up soon. I'm not sure if the Strive 16 has significantly more metal? It is 15% heavier.
They made solid white in 2016 and 2018 if you hunt eBay you might be able to still find a pair. It’s a bummer they don’t do more solid color ways, looks so much better than any forza they’ve released

And attack 14s at $125 USD. I'm not saying you shouldn't buy pivots but it's nice to have options. I don't have a strong preference for a particular binding rn.
Both are great bindings. I currently own and love both, have had a ton of each and appreciate different things about each. Attacks are really convenient and surefooted, but every single pro/semi pro park dude who doesn't have a binding sponsor rides pivots. It's the only metal binding on the market and metal is always going to be more reliable than plastic. At my level of skiing, attacks will and have done me fine in/out of the park but if I was hucking dub 12's every week, I wouldn't feel as great about them.

Thank you for saying it so I didn’t have to. Anyone who still thinks pivots save your knees in 2023 needs to cease all winter sport activity

I like the attacks, only issue for me has been the brakes. Just a little too long and bulky, they always end up getting bent up. After a few times bending them back with pliers the plastic gets weak and breaks, and then it’s time for new brakes. I keep a few extras around for replacement since I’ve been thru a lot, but since the screws that hold them drill through the binding into the ski I don’t like to replace them more than once on the same ski.
