Ikon is way worse and Ikon makes season pass holders at those mountians second class citizens to Ikoners yet somehow get a pass.

Rich people who own property places like Vail or Stowe deserve to get served and have their little slice of heaven ruined fuck them.

Yeah the same thing probably applies for ikon too. Are you saying the video is lame or vail/ikon is lame?

I think the video is about a few companies basically owning the entire skiing “experience” from the mountains to the lodging, restaurants, and basically the entire town while being controlled by a boardroom somewhere vs. the ski mountains and culture being a reflection of the local community and being served by independent businesses owned by locals.

For me I don’t mind because it makes me aware of it so I can try to avoid to contributing to that kind of thing. Idk what the solution is but it’s better for people to be aware of the problems so they can decide where they spend their hard earned cash and at least be informed

It’s like his video on cruise ships, it’s not gonna solve the problem but now I know there is no way in hell I’m spending my money on a cruise because I’m not contributing to that shit, esp at a significant loss to my own bank account

Ah, yes. When I need enlightenment on the downsides of corporatization, I turn to youtube pages run by spoiled children whose family's wealth was made through corporatization, directly contributing to the status quo.

I will never understand why people want to be rich so bad, and then proceed to hate on successful people that are rich.
