From my experience they don’t ride like a true 177 with the rocker v’s have. I’ve been riding 183s and they work great. I’m 5’5 for reference.

Nothing like creating a thread over 2 inches, of which will likely be split in front and behind the bindings cuz we all know ur gonna center mount. So the answer is: it's insignificant either way.
