Anyone try broken slides?

Want to try broken slides, but I am scared I am going to die. Anyone try them/land them and think they are chill? Also can someone show me a video of a beowulf grind? I heard of the trick on an old newschoolers thread but the link to all the videos showing them did not work cause the thread was from 14 years ago

Broken slide are chill man I don’t think it’s bad for your skis if your in a box or rail. Pro tips, wear knee pads cause your likely to hit the inside of your knee on the rail and stretch a bit first

I can sorta do them, but my buddy can do em pretty nice. It all depends on how flexible you are

You’re doing them wrong there should be virtually no weight on your back leg, it’s like a one legged squat where you drag the back leg

Naw the broken slides just on normal rails weakened it and then I cased a 40' jump to an icy knuckle and that exploded the ski

you don't really have to land in a broken slide but I think its a lot cooler if you do. definitely a pretty chill trick to learn

Broken slides are fun as long as you don’t get a brush burn scraping the side of your knee on the box

It's all in the knees, not ankles. Getting low, bringing your knee down, open the hips a little, weird stance and balance on the rail, then pop off. Super fun trick.
