TOAST.no thanks, Amish would 100% win, but I don't fell like dealing with Mormons until they are defeated.
Man I disagree wholeheartedly. The Mormons would fuck shit up in any war, and I'd honestly pick them to come out on top if the US has a civil war. They are ridiculously well stocked with food guns and crops and they are insanely well organized. 2 years of food storage for each household, and they are set up to rock and roll if shit hits the fan.

And they’re fuckin breeders. They got numbers for days.
Nooooooo, your karma has gone to the uncore level!
It's all good, it's better for you to be mainstream and accepted, all the cool kids know you are underground core
Newsheeperssorry to any mormons but I'm drunk asf off this cool aids
Ski_Alotagreed except mormons are definitely not chill haha
theyre far more chill than a homeless crackhead sleeping on the ground in the middle of january.
i dont agree with their religious beliefs (or any for that matter) and theyre very conservative, but I havent met one mormon that wasn't nice and understanding of others, most of them are naive as fuck and just want to give you a bible.
the old heads involved with politics and legislation are annoying, but if you can't get as fucked up as you want in utah you're gonna have a hard time in other states too. I've lived in utah for 15 years and the only thing I do differently in other states is order a double cocktail at the bar.
eheathMormons are chill, if you're letting someone else's business ruin your life, that is on you my dude.
But don't their ideals far too heavily influence state and local laws and customs, of which does affect non-moron's lives? It certainly affects whether people want to move to those states or not
LDS church is extremely backwards and I don’t have a lot of respect for their beliefs.
that said mormons don’t really care what ski bums think of their lifestyle and rules. and they shouldn’t, they’ve been there for nearly 2 centuries longer than you have.
it’s like pulling up to japan and getting pissed that you can’t smoke weed. posting on newschoolers about how we should kick out all the japanese people

you didnt even read my last post lol
the short answer is no, it doesnt affect me enough to change anything in my life. some people wont move here because of it and that's fine, housing prices are way too high and there are far too many people here already.

Welcome to America. 39 of the 50 states have one party in control of all three branches of state gov, including 9 of the top 10 by population. Millions of people around the country live in a place where they feel others ideals impact their lives negatively

Utah has always been influenced by money and right wing politicians which conveniently Mormons are of both of those categories. It's why they sold the state out to huge commercial real estate developers and the ski industry.
they established SLC u stupid fuck be grateful that they were bold enough to trek all the way out here and find these sick ass pow stashes so ur bumass could live here and be a lil bitch boy and sit on the internet all day

I think they were aiming for California but saw the great salt lake and were like "yo we made it" hence "this is the place" or whatever they said

yeah they picked one of the worst places in the west (resource wise) to live, just salt and snow. they were basically looking for anywhere that didnt have people lol

Ok so ive been in Utah for a bit and here is how it is over here. If you are in SLC or Summit County they are a minority and tend to be a bit more open minded. Anywhere else beyond those and it is very prevalent. Like anyone, they can be super nice and i'd encourage anyone not to judge but like any of us there will always be a bias. Coming from the west coast its a bit more sane out here depending on what you define that as being. If you are nice, chances are they will be nice like anyone else. I am not mormon btw just trying to provide an honest view.
there were definitely ppl they just genocided them jawns
eheathyeah they picked one of the worst places in the west (resource wise) to live, just salt and snow. they were basically looking for anywhere that didnt have people lol
foolmetwicer there any legit mormons on NS? Would love to hear about the mormon perspective from a skier
There are a few of us, haha I am a big time lurker on here but there has to be some more active posters for sure. I got nothing to add, but OP got his wish with me; just moved to the East Coast a couple months ago from SLC lol (rip, missed a fantastic season in the Wasatch)
I was raised Mormon. I quit being active when I turned 16(many years ago), have family and friends throughout Utah and Idaho who are active members.
They can be the nicest of people and they can be real assholes, to each their own. Its just not for me.
