Working a partial season

got a q about seasons - want to head japan or Canada for the 2023-24 season. only thing is I would have to be back in aus by the end of February. are there jobs that let you show up just for peak season, or not really and you're just best to dip when you have to after you get the job?

Who gives a fuck, work your hours and dip, don’t even say why when you’re getting hired. They’ll just think you got sick of it.

I needed money during the summer so worked a restaurant gig and dipped after 2 months.

Back in 2018 I got offered an instructing job in Japan that ended in mid February, think it was something to do with Aussie summer holidays? Didn’t take it bc I wanted a full season but sounds like it would work for you.

This absolutely. It's such a loose industry with more turnover than apple-ones that it doesn't matter anymore. They'll find some someone else expendable that will eventually quit after less than 6 months.
