Camera for skiing

My friends and I want to buy a camera for filming clips we pooled about $800 together with a bit left over for lenses or extra batteries or whatever, we kinda just want something thats practical and not too difficult to use, if anybody knows of something it'd be a big help, because i have no idea where to start looking, thanks.

eheaththe gh4 is like $300 less on ebay... not worth it. The gh5 has sensor stabilization, that alone is worth the extra money, 4k 60fps is huge too. The gh4 isn't even worth buying, if you wanna save money, get the gh3.


im possibly the only member using this site via 4K screen...
with that said, there is no profit in producing a ski edit/film, so why would anyone invest in a "professional grade" camera, to film a free ns edit?
look at level 1, they used RED cameras, and now dont produce...

Make sure to brush up on your cinematography! Camera won't do much if you don't have good texture and flow to your shots.

Arri sr3 super 16, super cheap to run, really crisp footage and amazing color depth
