Turd__AuthorityNah not even close. Either of those options would be fine. Depends how you ski, what you ski, ability, age (do you expect to grow in size and ability), etc. Want more stability at speed and landing, go longer. Want lighter skis and less swing weight, then go shorter. Either way neither of those is very large, and 171 borders small depending on the brand. Still a personal preference too. Gotta remember you'll be riding with nearly half that length behind you.
