Icant_kfedPersonally metal in the core wouldn’t be my go to for park, and they aren’t the lightest ski, but if Wolferman can do it you can too
SofaKingSickmine have been fine but honestly i havent skied enough these past couple years to really test the durability of stuff
happy to answer questions about them tho
LakotassksksksksHow stiff are they really? I have the edollos and I quite like the flex on them so are they a lot more stiff? I also had the arv 96 last year and they where ok in terms of stiffness
SofaKingSickthey're pretty stiff, nothing insane but def stiff. and def damp. also to the person who mentioned it, yes wolferman was using them in the park a lot for a while
i'm crazy busy at work right now (the only place i check NS) but this weekend if you wanted i'd be happy to hand flex them, send a video or compare to another pair or whatever. if so just send me a DM on here and i'll give you my number to text
i like em a lot, honestly the only issue i have with them is 1) i'm back on the east coast and really don't need their stiffness/dampness. those qualities are great when you need em but on already-too-small mountains they do make things a little boring imo. and 2) the bases aren't super nice/fast. ive had pair after pair of ARVs over the years and they have definitely downgraded the bases on these (despite them being a ""premium line"" ski!) (i'm pretty butthurt about this)
animatorid be surprised if you can find them, I've seen I think two used pairs in the last 3-4 years because the people who bought them realllllly liked them and don't post them for sale.... have a couple homies who rode them in the park and they said that the increased stability was really nice for bigger jumps and stuff like that.
LakotassksksksksIve found some un used ones on a used website
