Wondering if I can size up in boots on look pivot’s without remount
I have 26.5 boots but i’m wondering if i can size up if my feet grow? Is there enough room for the forward pressure to move “back” or am i not able to size up. 26.5 methods ate 301mm bsl while 27.5 are 310 bsl. would i be able to size up without remounting?
Yeaa definitely, they are adjustable enough that you can prob go another size up and be good. Also I don’t recommend this but vice versa you can ride smaller boots and crank them down and still be somewhat fine
Depends on what adjustability you have currently at 301mm. Looks like its in the middle so you might only have ~6mm adjustability. Easiest way would be to bring a ski in and test with a 310mm boot but im sure youve already thought of that haha

yea alr thought of that but closest competent shop is like 2 hours away so

Thats in cm. I ride 270mm in skimo and 275mm freeride. That 305mm and 316mm bsl.
You have huge feet. That actually pretty awesome. How old are you? By 17 you settling into your adult feet. Its funny that most of my friends wear 6 mens.
Pivots are not adjustible. My old Cochise were 4mm longer and my new langes pop out of them. Im pretty hurt cause I only got a few day on them.
Be safe and get them remounted between factory and center weight.

yea i’m 16. i currently do fit in a 26.5 but my doctor said i might grow again so.
If you happen to need a little more room in the coming seasons, a good bootfitter can make some more room for you ,
Also the moldable liners break in thru the years.

yea the shop already punched out the toes so idk. and alr will remount ig.

I just went through this and it kind of depends where the bindings were mounted and how tight the pivot was initially. I was able to do 310 to a 296 or whatever full tilt 27.5 to K2 revolver 25.5. Not ideal but worked. Wouldn’t suggest more then one size jump up or down.
