If you get hurt doing this, you will probably get made fun of, forever, and you wont be left alone at home anymore...
Set up your hardwood coffee table , next to your couch....on an angle!
you following? put on some nice slippy socks....
stand on the opposite arm rest, jump, bounce, gap over opposite arm rest (270) , land and slide down table.
this is 10/10 legit, trained for the world ski invitational, showed up to a gap to down rail....

tominiemenmaaand GYM. Go see a PT and have your program made with a focus for skiing. Hit the gym hard in the off-season & be amazed in the first lap of the next season on how large impact it has on your skiing.

tawmiWhat you're looking for is "aggressive inline" skates. They're basically redesigned from the ground up for grinding and slides. Look for a shop near you, and see what fits you well!
steezytangerinelowkey pricey tho.

tominiemenmaaPricey compared to what? Yes the skates cost 200-400usd but that's still dirt cheap compared to skiing or virtually any sport.
Blading, for me at least, is the perfect substitute for skiing. Similar enough to carry the same vibe and basics of tricks and different enough to be a proper counter weight.
JAHnSlackline is easy to do at home. Hop around and do swaps and spins off. Play a game of S.L.A.C.K w/ your buds. Its not as good as a pvc setup but it definitely helps.
