Tips on dfd?

aggressive stance and lean forward (like any rail situation) but keep your feet light as can be on the flat and kinda absorb the kink with your legs as shock absorbers

the leaning forward keeps you from slipping out and the light feet/absorption keeps you from bouncing off the flat

dull edges will make you feel safer and more likely to commit but the reality is that kinks kinda always look gnarlier than they really are (regular ones, anyway, like you'd find in a park) so don't let them scare you too much, it feels more like cleaning a flat or down rail than you'd think as long as you suck the kink up and keep moving

Just let it happen under ur feet, don’t try to like.. defeat it. Just flow right over it. Idk I suck at giving advice that doesn’t kill ppl lol

But imo rail dfds are easier than tubes, but as a beginner it would be other way round mostly because of the mental aspect

I definitely think it’s easier to learn on a tube than a rail. But I would focus on keeping yourself centered and just treat it like a normal rail by looking at the end of the rail. It’s probably more of a mental block than anything

look towards the end, be light on your feet, lean forward and practice
