Once you get used to them they are really nice and doesn’t feel that heavy, I had line chronics a couple of years ago and of course they broke mid season so I got some poachers and after a couple of days you don’t mind the extra weight, it’s easier to stomp a trick landing backseat and they’re really durable overall great skis
Wouldn't say the swingweight is specifically heavy, the entire ski is just built burly, so that extra weight is distributed pretty evenly. Slightly heavier swingweight, slightly heavier ski overall. You just notice you're riding a more solid-feeling ski until you get used to it, then it feels natural. Came off a 181 AR7 to a 184 Poacher, got used to the weight very quickly.
