i swear no one understands this now. Since Covid the cost for quite literally everything has increased, of course MSRP is gonna go up to compensate for that? Did none of you go to high school?
eheathi would bet most people who complain about it are in high school/college and haven't had to buy anything essential in their lives, wouldn't really expect them to notice that prices of everything has gone up.

animatorBut even essentials for living are more expensive, like a carton of eggs is almost twice as much as it used to be. No shot people are completely blind to this unless it’s not their money being spent which now that I think ab it is probably a ton of people
eheaththat was my point, the people complaining don't buy a carton of eggs, they only buy things they want i.e. a hoodie from jiberish.
lukegeyerReal question, why are all ski brand sweatshirts/tees $70-85. Theres also usually nothing crazy special even if the blanks are a little thicker.
tri_photoNo disrespect OP but did this question really need to be asked

BradFiAusNzCoCaThat’s because there was an avian flu outbreak (I think in the Midwest). They had to kill like 40 million birds or so. Prices should drop again in next year
MaimHelpYeah most kids my age and younger have their parents buy them everything. This is why they love to complain and cry about just about everything and why insta is littered with cocky kids posting the same looking shit.

hi_vis360The avian flu outbreak is worldwide unfortunately, it’s spread primarily through migratory wild birds and backyard chickens.
something to notice: the price of pasture raised (the birds go outside) eggs has barely changed at all. For a while they were almost the same price as caged eggs. So I guess letting the birds go outside and breathe fresh air protects them from illness and makes them healthier, crazy concept right??

TOAST.I noticed the same thing with eggs. eggs I've been buying have barely changed in price.
On the clothing thing, blank clothing with no branding > branded clothing.
IsaacNW82Broadly speaking, building skis isn't the most profitable industry out there, but the brands tend to have a strong brand image. Outerwear and merch is great way for them to cash out on that image

Jacob.millzNope.

I can afford maybe one 70$ sweatshirt a year and I work decent hours. Trust me, I’m not happy buying it. No one is happy spending 70 of their hard earned bones on a 5$ piece of fabric with a 10$ screen print on it.
