weatcoastLots you can do. Not sure what the laws are like in Ohio but get a workers permit from ur school or wherever asap. When I was younger I used to work in a grocery store, at a golf course washing carts for years, banquet serving, dishwashing, yadayada.
the best of them all was cutting grass. If you can get the ball rolling with lawn care / landscaping you’re golden. Once you have a few clients it gets way easier to get more yards to cut. A singular yard I cut was enough to pay for my first pair of actual skis, on3p magnus, and a brand new pair of pivots. And season pass n such.
Try the golf course route too, it can be easy and profitable. Could caddy and make mad tips if you’re near a high end course that’s always busy. Or just washin carts / running a register where you’ll regularly see some tips from pulling bags for people, washing their clubs, gettin em ice for their beer, etc.
All in all just go for the highest paying jobs from anywhere you can think of, like real random places. Could spell an easy job where you’re getting paid well and you don’t hate your life while scrubbing dishes or dealing with rich assholes while waiting tables somewhere.
apply to a shit ton of places, let em know you’re a good worker, and be adamant about it. Don’t wait for them to call you back, call em back in a week or so yourself once you turn in applications and ask them what the status of it is. I’ve found that’s been the key factor in getting myself jobs so far, no matter what kind.
