I’ve been looking into getting Vs for a park ski for a few years now and I’m going to pull the trigger this year. I’m deciding between the wet and wet plus and in all the reviews/threads everyone says to steer away from wets if your planning on doing big jumps. How big is a “big” jump? I live in the Midwest and the biggest jump in my city is probably 20ft lip to knuckle and on average maybe 5-10 which is nothing compared to west coast skiers would call big. At 5’9 185 would I be able to get away with wets for this size stuff or even at my weight or should I go wet plus?

I'd say plus 183's. I weigh like 30lbs less than you but the same height, and my Wides are super soft and I have to land pretty perfect on big stuff but then again I'm just doing simple stuff. My buddy skis wide pluses all over the gd mountain.

183? I ride 171 chronics right now and their probably about forehead height so I was thinking 177

I’m 5’6 and ride 177s. Def go for 183s .. they ski wayyy shorter because of rocker

The early rise rocker makes them feel a size shorter, and they are light af so no worry really. You’ll hate yourself if you don’t get 183

i'm 187 cm (6') tall roughly and 80kg (175 lbs),and currently ride 183 wets. hit 14 meter jumps on them (45 ft) works fine, but not ideal.
it's the best ski if you like buttering and doing dorky tricks on hill. if you don't have too much terrain to work with they are the best ski. it feels like the ski is not made to hit features the right way. i get a more creative approach knowing that the ski lets me pop up on fetures from the side and hit transitions with ease. ofc, the ski is very good for rails in general, super lightweight and easy to whip around. feels solid after skiing them almost every day for about 2 months. one edgecrack (very good for me)
they are very soft, and don't hold an edge for shit, but it feels natural in a way as well.
if you are skiing small hills with not a lot of terrain, i would for sure say go. they are way too much fun and make the stupidest things like a pile of snow the most interesting thing ever.
