Day Trip From Zurich

I'm going to be in Zurich for the last weekend in March and I am looking for some recommendations on where to go skiing for a day. I would like to get in some big mountain free riding if conditions allow and I am looking for something not too far away. Any recommendations on resorts to go to?

Royally late with this answer but Hoch-Ybrig is the prime freeride spot at Zurich's doorstep.
