skiP.E.I.The only reason any outerwear can be cheaper than that is that it's made for pennies in a sweatshop in a country that has no labour standards
TheMadLad7I know I'm a little bitch and complainer, but lizard pants prices are the most retarded thing that I have ever seen. Hell yeah they look sick and yeah supporting small brands is sick too. But that dude is robbing your ass. I mean buy what you like and have money for, but for the love of god why are people buying pants with two pockets and a cargo butt pocket (that no one ever uses). It doesn't even have a zipper and button to put on your pant(I knows it so baggy that it doesn't matter but for quality sake) and it comes with a standard black belt which dude probably thinks thats what makes it worth a extra 100 bucks, cause thank god for a black belt. With that being said how the flying fuck does that make it worth 250 - 330 dollars. I can find pants that have 8 pockets and a zipper and button for my massive balls, that cost like 150 bucks. Maybe a Hot take, but fuck that. I bouta learn how to sew just to charge you an extra 100 bucks cuz small brands are cool and hip.
steez_apprenticeMaybe because it's all done by hand for hours and hours of work to near perfection? It's not like they're some Bangladesh assembly line pants. I know plenty of people who've told me Lizard pants are amazing and absolutely worth the hefty price tag. If you have a problem with paying a premium buy 4XL rainpants and call it a day or go to your local goodwill and find some baggy trackpants. There's a reason why Sovyrn, Woofbiz, Lizard, etc. are all expensive.
TheMadLad7Actually this isn't true at all. Wolfbiz looks stupid so we can leave that out. But, arsenic cost 133$ for pockets and a belt, And Sovyrn cost around 180 for pockets and a belt. I could get goodwill or good rain pants, but thats not the point. You could say that I'm complaining, but thats the point of NS. Discussion doesn't always mean agreeing on stuff and as far as I'm concerned I am allowed to say whatever I want.
hegleezycomplaining about prices is lame but this comment is all truth
Raf.Diaz.I don’t know you or your knowledge in sewing but this is really well made fully seal up and made from expensive material. If you can do pants that quality and sell them like if you worked an hour on em let’s see it lol

TheMadLad7I have already watched that video. And I will gladly post results. Funny enough I can actually buy a sewing machine for 150 and the materials for 60... less than the actually pants cost.

muffMan.He spent time sourcing materials, learning his craft, making templates, and building a brand. Flylow pants cost more, and these are just as good not better. It’s called business and just shop elsewhere
But go buy that cheap Chinese helly Hans, also when tf did pockets dictate quality, trash thread.
KyguyyAt least his pants are made to a consumer standard. He has them lined and the seams are taped and everything. Most handmade pant companies sell you a shell with bare seams for over $200

TheMadLad7Anything on a product can dictate quality. For example, if there was 2 pairs of oh lets just say pants and it had more pockets and a fly zipper its quality is considered higher in the eyes of a consumer. I believe you are looking for the term durability, which is also not true at all. 686 makes gore-tex pants with numerous pocket a fly and cuffs for 180 bucks. Also fllyows pants are mostly cheaper with high quality and more of a trustable brand.
Again consumer standard is around $200 for pants made of gore-tex (example 686). Handmade doesn't matter, it still has to be able to compete with bigger brands for a similar price.

Ostlerb4hunnid_I have a pair and they keep me dry in wet conditions. Worth the buy. Just curious, why do you need 8 pockets?

https://www.lizard-stuff.com/warranty Also check out his warranty. OP please tell me any other company like this
hi_vis360Couldn’t be more satisfied with my lizard stuff pants. Durable and extremely waterproof. They don’t look like silly parachute pants and are nice and stiff, don’t flap around in the wind. They came with a repair kit too!
kobajaki.mazuAgree. I bought the first pair of LZD pants ever released. Theyre holding up very well against rail burns and edge cuts at the bottom. Super comfy too. However, i understand that some peeps dont wanna spend that much on a pair of pants. But it pays back. Its my first pair of pants that held up for more than a season.
