How would Salomon shift 120s do in the park?

What would I lose, if anything with these boots in the park? 90 percent of my skiing is in the park but I want to try and get into touring in the future. The lady at the ski shop told me there isn’t any difference from the shift and the regular model, your just gaining the ability to use them as a touring boot. They felt great on my feet. Any input much appreciated

That’s the shift binding, I’m talking about the boot, I should’ve worded it a bit better but the Salomon pro shift 120s

None at all, if it fits and feels right send it. People are riding park in race boots and free ride type stuff all the time.

Although something to be wary of the 120 flex on a touring boot is most of the time softer than a 120 on the back, just ain’t no way when the calf isn’t locked out. Also it will probably break down faster as they can be lighter.

This. I've seen lots of people go hard in the park wearing touring boots.

I’ve been riding the qst 100 so like the older version that change name to shift and they feel great in the park I like how light they are but I put a vans pro insole inside cause there less absorbing material then a park boot I guess. They also work really well for touring im probably gonna get the shift 120 soon too

I wear a Shift 130 and you can do anything on them, park included.
