SofaKingSickthey behave as if they're smaller than they are, because they're soft, forgiving, and have a lot of rocker, so the length of edge that actually is on hard snow is shorter than you'd expect for the length
that said, this is one of NS's tropes, telling everyone and their mother to get 189cm Vishnus regardless. if you're asking which size to get, you should absolutely get the one that is exactly your height and ignore the parrots saying 189
