Been riding these for a couple of weeks now and they're dope. Quite playful and has a fuck ton of pop. Definitely a ski to keep your eye on next year. Gotta put some more miles on em before i write up a review but I'm super excited about these.

skiP.E.I.If you're doing rope tow park laps, just buy a used pair of beater park skis and keep your good skis fresh for your trip west.
skippaagYe I have a pair of 177cm honey badgers that I got when I was 14 but I’m 6’2 now and they feel a little short and goofy. Was planning on running down the honey badgers until they disintegrate then replace them with the playmakers
BradFiAusNzCoCaThese skis really have my curiosity. Got a few questions because these look so cool:
1) what type of detune did you do? Like a simple file running down the 90 degree edge or setting a new base bevel and then rounding it out with Diamond stones and gummy stones?
2) what type of rails were you hitting? Tubes. Thinner rails, etc? Any disasters?
3) is it possible the 22cm came out due to a tail heavy landing from something else?
tdolloran the edge along a stone grinder to make it nice and round underfoot. I hit all sorts of rails so a good variety of tubes, boxes, handrails and kinks. I do love to disaster too so i am pretty tough on my gear, but if its worth anything they fell apart much quicker than my Prodigy 2s, Arv96s and edollos; Its more an issue of the sidewall blowing out with the playmaker imo, my homie who rides for Elan chews through pairs of 101s.
For the average skier doing 40 odd days a season they would be fine, but if you push 100+ and lots of those in the park, you'll be after a second pair pretty soon.
