Music in the parking lot grinds my gears

anyone else sick of mf's blasting their shitty music out their sprinter van for the world to hear as soon they pull up to the lot?

had this dude and his girl in a pimped out mercedes van pull up directly next to me in the parking lot blasting some shitty techno reggae remix song, as im putting my boots/gear on, sitting on the tailgate of my whip. @9am

they hopped out in full acrteryx kits and started gearing up, shitty music still blasting.

i asked them politely to turn it off, and was met with the response of "no, its a free country man" ... smh.... told him that he and his girl are kooks, then walked to the hill.

this has been a re occurring thing for me at my local, and while i hate rules and regulation 99% of the time, i would seriously enjoy a policy of no loud music in the lot. or at least the expectation that people have the common decency to turn it down when asked nicely. the fact of the matter is, i shouldnt have to ask. You should have enough social awareness and courtesy to realize that you look like a fucking knob. i dont pull up blaring westsidegunn in the lot for a reason, i understand that we all have different music tastes and not everyone wants to listen to mine, especially in a natural environment like a ski hill, where people go to escape the bs of everyday modern life.

am i the asshole, or does anyone else feel the same way?

wireless bluetooth speakers are the bane of my existence.

hope we can all agree that loud music on the hill/chair is a no no, but how do yall feel about parking lots?

For me personally, only music that I’d be fine that people blast would be 70s rock. Preferably a prog song, but whatevs. I don’t get why some people listen to that goofy techy stuff. Weird. For the most part, music in the morning also annoys me since I wanna here some level of quiet since it is the morning and too early for blasting.

that's actually pretty sick. closest I've seen to that is kid playing a trombone while skiing.

Guys a legend. He's a b-town local. He actually makes guitars out of skis and sells them I think.

I love wutang but the way they make their music is really a hit or miss for me. I'll either love the song or absolutely despise it and theirs no in between

I’m not one to blast music in the lot, but I don’t really agree with this at all. When I’m getting ready to ski I want people to be awake and stoked for the day. Nap time is over once you hit the lot. Any music is better than no music for me.

There was a lifted truck at Bogus blasting metal. Entire lower lot could not only hear it, but struggle to talk over it. Would love to know how much was spent on that stereo cause honestly it was an impressive performance.
