February is too short

February is my favorite month for skiing but it is the shortest month of the year! I know the length of February doesn’t technically make the ski season longer but still. February should be the longest month of the year - maybe we can borrow some days from September!

Nothing super substantial to post here, just wanted to bring this up to the community .

Nah april got the best skiing atleast for park but its better in the forest now in february.

At the very least they should add an extra day to February every couple years.

A February day when the grooming is good, it's bluebird. You get those fadt turns and then get those cuts as it starts to peel in the sun. Especially on the east coast if you havent had bluebird days or anything but ice. Hits different.

I'll take big feb pow days too though.

we had snow covering our grass for 3 days in febuary this year in toronto. this climate change tomfoolery better stop otherwise i am going to have to sort this out myself.

Spring skiing is great but February has the best park rebuilds and the most weather change which makes it more fun. We need an extra week in February fr

I'd stick my neck out for march. Most places I've skied, march is either slushy spring skiing or big snow storms on a fat snowpack, very few days of that cold, hard, dry-spell variety

What about rock and grass skiing. Sendiest way down a 14er after a hike. Actually imagine that.

If it were up to me, we would have a 13 month calendar. 12 being 28 days long and 1 would be 29 days long and I would make that the very last month and that day wouldn’t even be a day of the week cause it would mess up the flow. It would just be a holiday. And every 4 years when we have 366 days a year instead of 365 it becomes a 2 day holiday instead of 1 lol. This would also align with the moon slightly better but not perfectly.
