I really want to purchase a pair of Line Sakanas. I hate to admit it but my park days are behind me, my clothes are just not baggy enough and my bones are not sturdy enough. My friend's dad bought a pair and he loves them. He is about 5'6" maybe and skis the 166cm.
I am 5'9" and am a pretty aggressive skier. These will be my all around ski (No rails!) and I'll actually keep my edges sharp and the skis waxed.
The past few years I have had Line Step Ups, ON3P Filthy Rich and Kartel 98 in 174cm, Aramada ARV 86 (or 87 dont remember) in 176 cm. All were true center mounted besides the Kartel 98 which were maybe -2 cm from center.
I am thinking of getting the 174 cm Sakana. My only fear is how far back the traditional mount is on them. I do not think the longer nose will be a problem. I am just wondering what other people feel about the ski and sizes. I saw a few reviews where Line says the ski rides like a +10 from what size it was.
Any feedback would be appreciated
