Replying to If ur reading this, take 2-3 days off skiing
this shits a game changer...been feeling hella confident but also kiiinda fatigued lately and my ankle has been feeling rough from a lil cliff drop I fucked up in December, ive pretty much been at the hill either working and skiing after I clock off. or skiing on my days off for like the past 2 weeks cuz our weather has been constant bluebird and 35degrees.
I got wasted on a right elbow rail on Monday, got folded over like a sheet of paper and slid on my hip for like the last 3 feet of the rail. homies were flabergasted that I was okay after I concluded I still had all my ribs and didn't hit my head. decided to definitely take a couple days to rest up tho cuz my right arm and hips were bruised af and I got a good burn from the rail on my side and collectively my entire body felt like shit a few moments after the slam and said fuck it and went home
into the moral of the story. even in 2 days off my ankle feels better, my hip is still bruised and tight but i've been stretching twice a day to combat that. mentally I feel less fatigued cuz I haven't had to work either so like I'm boutta make the comeback of the century after another couple days of chillin
in conclusion, take care of urself both mentally and physically, check in with ur homies, and remember that skiing is a marathon not a sprint
