bananaman123431I’ve been getting lower back pain from skiing recently and i’m wondering how to fix it. more stretching? more excercise? thanks
gorpfiendWell seriously though, lower back pain is simply caused by lack of core strength. The back is supported by the core, and without sufficient core strength, your back has to rely on other muscles to hold it straight. That's why older people tend to get back issues, not because they have some fucked up back issues it's just because they're significantly weaker.
bananaman123431Alright, do you think maybe every morning and night if i do at home workouts that will help? Like sit ups and shit

SkierPTNope.
Find a good sports physio in your area. It could be many reasons you are having back pain, but a good sports physical therapist who knows skiing will be able to help. Stretching, chiro and massage are all passive treatments, which in the long term are a waste of money.
Feel free to PM me OP.
