I stopped using opensnow when they got rid of the comments section on the website. Those conversations used to get WILD. Especially in Colorado where the term suckfest would manifest itself all the time. They kind of took a chicken shit response to it because I didnt think it got all too bad. Nothings as bad as reading the messages from trolls on this site. I miss that culture from the site and refuse to use it since removing it. Also got a response from Sam Collentine on its removal:

It’s been fun throughout the years to have a section where our users can chat about skiing and weather but like with any comments section on the internet, there are often inappropriate and/or very negative comments, which required constant moderation from our end.

We might bring back a forum of some sort for All-Access subscribers in the future.
