i got my finger stuck in a metal pivot today, most extreme and jarring pain i have ever felt. it took two people more than a minute to get it off. the pain has tripled since then. i think it is broken. things are like alligators. i am honestly frightened to put any body parts anywhere near them again. i don’t even remember what i was trying to do it just jumped out at me. be careful out there.

LemuelI’m sorry but I chuckle every time this thread gets made. Y’all need to stop playing with your bindings, especially when they aren’t mounted.
I just love when customers in the shop pick up the display pivot then start playing with the heel and I tell em to be super careful, which they proceed to just keep playing with it...

My friend just got his first pair recently - took him less than a week to get his finger caught.
When I caught mine we were waiting in line for first chair. Took off the glove and left a pool of blood in the snow. Singles line guy jumps on with us and goes "that was you? I thought someone got stabbed in the lift line!"
Happened to my roommate trying to fix a stuck adjustment piece. Had three fingers trapped in there like an animal trap!! Took two people and a bunch of canola oil to get him unstuck
When working with pivots, you should really just be touching the main dildo part on the heel. Nothing else. If you need to move the binding up or down, use the palm of your hand. Not those little fingers that might go elsewhere.

Gotta learn the hard way at some point in life. I feel like most of us have done this atleast once, had a coworker do it to himself twice after I warned him.

Ah yes, what a fun rite of passage that is. Luckily my finger didnt get fucked up as bad as that thumb.
