On3p what layup to get

Lukrom_Im interested in getting a pair of custom on3ps but not sure on the lay up. I want a light all mountain (park included) ski that i can butter with. I ski strictly inbounds but wondering if the tour layup would benefit me.

Currently skiing a armada 116 jj ul and want that type of weight

Dont do the tour layup if you plan on going into the park at all. The thin base and edge will not be happy on rails. You could technically get away with the 50-50 layup but it’s really made to be toured on. The bamboo/paulownia core is not going to be as strong as a full bamboo core. Imo just get the stock and do some squats

Don’t buy on3ps if you’re looking for lightweight. That’s not their forte as they build them like tanks that can last 4+ seasons skiing 40+ days a year.



I would just get the regular layup if you’re skiing in bounds, they’re heavy but the pair I own and others that I have skied ski great.

I would not get the tour layup for inbounds. I own a pair of woodsman 96 tours and jeff110s (stock layup). The tours are very light. just a hair under 1500g per ski. Weight is good in the resort.

They have a hybrid touring core layup that still gives you the 2.5mm edge and all. I have it with my touring skis and love it. I use it on pow days and touring. That being said, get a stock layup and stock flex for what you want. The hybrid touring core and full touring core will make the ski feel less energetic for the sake of weight saving. The Jeff 110 is a near perfect ski as is so you don't need to reinvent the wheel here. Just mount em at recommended and send it
