I'll preface this by saying I've got nothing against the dude who runs it. He's 17 I think, and it's very respectable that's already running a successful business. That being said, I do have principles that I try to stick by.
When I buy something like pants I usually consider a few things: the product itself - how does it look? how's the durability? how affordable is it? and the focus of the brand itself - which riders do they sponsor? what projects are they involved in?
In my opinion, jibskin does not hold well to my criteria (but you might have different criteria and that's ok). The pants look fine to me and maybe they're durable, idk. They're definitely affordable but: "All current Jibskin products are manufactured by a third party based in Pakistan." Go look at their IG page. It's full of social media skiers - ie skiers who are pumping out short-form content on IG rather than longer videos on youtube or NS. I'm not seeing any footage of people wearing jibskin in the streets (but I'd be happy to be proven wrong). It's a lot of TW pro videos. It's ok if you like that stuff but not the best brand to support if you care about more meaningful content being produced.
The following brands also make pants: harlaut, vulgus, woofbiz, smooth18, lizard stuff, kysen hall, r3evaluate, anytides, and arsenic

Both brands are well priced imo. The difference of buying from smaller brands (Sov & LSD) compared to bigger brands is that you're giving your money to people who are putting several hours into each product, rather than a company that pumps out thousands of pants. Both guys that make these pants put a lot of time into them and they hold up nicely. I have a pair of LSD pants and they're waterproof, warm, and good looking.

ok i saw a pair of hellyhans at killington a couple weeks ago does anyone have actual experience with them?
