Vishnus are stiff???

I tried out a pair of the neon light graphic wets tonight, and they were not soft at all
The guy whos skis they were said they had been used 10 plus days, and his skis were like 170 ish, i ride 184s, and smaller skis are easier to flex, i know this as i have some 160s, and they flex super easy because my weight leans over them so much
I tried to lean back on the tails, and to my surprise they were stiffer then my surface royals, and my misfit skis
They felt similar to my black crows captis birdies
I honestly thought they were going to be noodles from what i had heard about them, but they were kinda stiff, and i did not feel like they were very loopy or too soft, almost felt stiff
Why does everybody say that these are the softest ski?

I did try some wet clouds, and maybe it was the soft snow/weather, or maybe the woman (who owned them) never broke them in - but I thought wets were stiffer than I expected. Stiffer than my liberty antigens that I was skiing that season.

The snow was soft garbage that day though and I was totally over the season so maybe that influenced my opinion.

Stiff enough to pop well but the rocker make them feel soft at the same time kinda
the flex is very progressive unlike most soft skis that got a "bendy" point

Maybe they weren't broken in yet? Mine were kinda stiff the first few days.
After 30 days on them they're not noodles to me but then I'm small.

Yeah Vishnu's flex changed so much after they break in. My keys went from a normal jumps ski flex (like a 5 or something) to a semi soggy noodle (like a 3). I actually liked them way more once they broke in but definitely a very different flexing ski.

In my experience the main reason Wets can feel stiffer than other skis even through there not is because the rocker of the ski is underfoot as opposed to in the nose so the don't get that soft pivot point on the front of your skis like more traditional shaped skis have. I have a pair of SFB's and even though there a stiffer ski I have a much easier time flexing the them forward because of the rocker in the nose, I have also experienced the same thing with Magnus 90s. However you truly feel the flex with wets in the tails when you do ollies because that rocker pattern encourages you to slide them back and pop forward
