hey i just heard that standish is getting a high speed quad for this coming seaso. do you guys think it will go higher than the double?

ya it would go higher at all...i think i should zig zag up the mountain so everyones dizzy when they ski down and they crash into stuff

hmmm.. not sure how to react to this news. it could just mean that all the sick lines will get poached that much quicker. i guess we will have to wait and see.

yea i broke my arm there. i broke it. it hurt. i brtoke my arm and it was dangling. out of bounds i broke my arm. i broke my arm on a backcountry booter. but now the backcountry booter would of been inbounds. i broke my arm inbounds. i broke my arm. it hurt when i broke my arm. i couldnt ski when i broke my arm. haha jeff. but seriously, that is pretty lame but i dont really care that much because the lake is quite a few times more better so instead of drowning myself in depression, i will reverl in the lakes radnessish.

I also suggest, that if you are looking for just good lines that you instead head out to Kicking Horse. SSSSsoooooo good. Superbowl. Sunshine is good for jumps though.

when i worked at sunshine i was told that if they replaced the standish chair, it couldn't go much faster. Being in a national park means that the lifts can only run a certain number of people up the mountain per hour (it's based on the area accessed by the lift)... and the current chair runs pretty close those numbers parks canada gave them. So unless those numbers have changed since....i doubt they'd do a high speed quad.

would be nice though

theyve been advertising it as a hihg speed quad, but there definition of high speed probably is different than everyone elses

if they put a quad in standish it'll ruin it....same with teepeetown....those are the best lifts at sunshine because no one uses them...and the terrain isnt flat, if you cant find good snow anywhere on sunshine (happens alot, i know) go to standish or teepee town)

standish needs a quad. the chair sucks right now and it is one of the most used chairs on the mountain. i think that head wall and the garbage shoots will become real tracked out fast, but people aren't goning to hike into the backcountry just because of a new quad, so jumps aren't going to be that big of a deal.
