Goodbye Teenage Skiing Bedroom

My parents have preserved my bedroom since HighSchool/College. I’m rarely home so it looks very much the same as it did all those years ago.

However, everything must go. They are moving so this is the best way I can think to preserve it or than boxing a few things up.

Found lots of artwork, photos, magazines, and posters I forgot I had and wanted to share.

dude i love this. what year did you graduate HS? are you keeping all of that boxed up stuff?
the feeling of nostalgia that i get every time i go to my hometown is very powerful. i love to cruise around all the back roads, drive by the base areas at the mountains, etc. and just bask in that feeling. i don't want to live there but the happy memories are very strong and i love visiting

2011 and yea going to try to keep the magazines forever. Not sure about the rest but my parents are going to have to hang onto whatever remains

Dude, this brought me right back. This was the era I grew up in. I've been busting out some old Freeze mags. 2005-2015 was the shit.. Makes me wish I could still get my hands on an old pair of troublemakers.

i miss all my old skis. i just bought another pair of 2010 walls on ebay last week. also always keeping eyes peeled for 2003 and 2008 trouble makers

What a great thread. So many pieces of nostalgia I had forgotten about. Seems obvious in hindsight but weird how so many of these things just end up lost to the sands of time, especially such a niche corner of the sports world.

Stuff like this gives me that little nostalgia-pit in my stomach. That weird little sad/happy feeling.

I miss ‘07-‘15 pretty often. Really was the golden age of park skiing and none of us knew it at the time. At least I didn’t. The time where triples felt impossible and doubles were the new frontier.

Man what I’d give to go back for just a season…

Man that’s some shit old people say. Feel like a boomer for saying it now lmao
