Binding Test for new boots that are the same model?

I recently bought new boots that are the exact same model as my old boots (same size, bsl and everything). The only difference is that the bottom of my old boots are very worn. If I have bindings with toe height adjustment (STH2) that were mounted with the old boots when the bottoms were already pretty worn, do I need to adjust the toe height of the bindings for the new boots? (To get proper AFD) Or am I just overthinking it and don’t need to worry that much? The toe on the new boots is about 2-3mm thicker than the old ones because they’re not worn down yet. Similarly, do I need to occasionally check the AFD as I wear down the toes of the new boots?

A piece of paper should be able to be put on your toe and pulled out without ripping but with some friction.

do the same thing you did for your last boots. i’d adjust the height now and if you notice a wiggle later then re adjust accordingly
