Vishnu Wide+ For Big Mountain/Pow

I've been rocking Vishnu Wet+ the last two years and love em, best park skis I've ever owned. I'm now looking for a do it all ski to take with me on trips out west. This pair's main focus would be bigger mountain lines/pow skiing and such, with park thrown in here and there. I know what Vs are like in the park, but how do the wides perform in big mountain situations/pow days? Since I already have Wet+ would I be better off going for a dedicated all mountain ski? Or would the wide allow me to ride Vs on the gnarlier stuff as well? Lemme know what you guys think.

Have ridden them down chutes and off cliffs, gotta get used to how soft they are but they feel good. They float well in pow too

Do you have the plus or just the normal wide?

I’d recommend something else tbh. I guess I just have wides but I’d still want something asymmetrical for all mountain.

@X_MEMESWERVE_XX rides wide+ and loves em everywhere.

Normal wide. Wide plus is probably a little more stable. Honestly though don’t be afraid to go soft, for a soft ski they are very stable and cut crud well

I had a lot of fun at fernie with my wide+ from the steep stuff , cliff to buttering and landing switch on the pow I’d say maybe size up for more stability and super fun if you cross path with a little snowpark even on powdays

Plus, I had this thought too cuz I live in the Midwest and thought that the regulars would be better. I sent it for the Plusses and I’m so glad I did. I actually ended up selling my Wets after riding the wide Plusses for a couple weeks cuz I loved them so much.

once the Plusses break in (have had about 25 days on them sofar) they become such an insanely fun ski. They are stable as fuck on chunder, and Midwest pseudo-powder. Also they float real well in real powder too Handle tree skiing pretty damn nice. But still even with the stability they are crazy playful. I’d say once you break them in and get into it they are really just a touch stiffer than the regular wides, they pop like hell too, the extra stiffness still lets you butter but also to Ollie like 3 feet on flats lmao

oh and they kill it in the park. Especially if u are someone who likes a bit wider park ski you will love them. Lock on to rails is so easy and they feel so light on foot. They take jumps really well with the extra stability too

wide plus for the win
