I can't do either of those but I agree, big difference between being a good skier and having a bag of tricks. I love the Midwest ski scene but there's a lot of kids growing up in those parks who struggle laying an edge over and linking turns.

To be a good park skier, you have to be a good skier. It is so much easier learning in the park, when you have actual control of ur skis and edges.
