Flatter but not too flat. I hate hitting lines of down rails where you come out switch and have to scrub speed all the way until the lip of the next rail to hit it switch and so you don’t gap the whole thing.
Flatter parks for sure. Not saying flat, but a good grade. Too steep just isn't ideal. Some of my favorite rail lines are rapid fire rails on a mellow pitch. You have plenty of speed but never need to speed check. Same with jumps.
In terms of Midwest resorts, hyland is a little too steep for my liking, not enough time between features. Wild back stage and Welch are a little too flat. Afton and troll have a good inbetween. Gotta have some tiers/rollers to make it flow for sure
