1ukasIt’s not even that I want to sell anything super badly, I love just looking at what gear everyone has. And plus it’s seriously one of the best places to get great deals
SurfaceIsdurableThere is an account called @snowshare.on break does the same thing they do
muffMan.It’s called B/S/T
steez_apprenticenobody posts shit on there not even as close as the level of popularity snow share gets
muffMan.I don’t have Instagram, but trying to make a website like snowshare.
Super simple to use and doesn’t require a log in. You just post what you have, and a way to contact you. Sorta like skiers only craiglists. But idk if people would use it enough to sit down and make it work
bogustI prefer this but unfortunately this has been proven to be the wrong model. The reason Snowshare is so popular is because its on Instagram an app people are already using a lot. While the NS buy/sell page for example has significantly less traffic because it requires using a different website to do the same thing as Snowshare, something most people wont go through the trouble of doing. In a broader sense this falls back on the problem that the younger generation of skiers (I am one of them) have such a short attention span that using a website like NS or watching long form edits isn't a quick enough dopamine fix compared to the endless bit sized clips on Instagram and TikTok. So as a result quickly tapping through Instagram stories with ski gear for sale is the preferred method despite it being worse then the alternatives.
s.j.mitchellSnow share takes an absurd amount of dans time lol
tonyzuccaroYea it does 100% but he doesn’t want other moderaters to help. Not even random people but people he knows and trusts.
-DanSnow.share account is a sub account of arsenic. (Same password, same email, same phone number). That’s why I can’t have anyone else. Made it like this out of convenience threee years ago. Never expected to be in this position.
